Libraries are celebrated at a national scale in the Maldives on the 12th of July every year. In addition to individual events that took place in various libraries across the country, a national level discussion was held, through Clubhouse App, inviting stakeholders from the Maldives Library Sector to highlight key areas of library development and challenges in the local context. A large number of librarians from across the country participated in the discussion.
