The Maldives Library Association (MLA) is hosting a 5-day workshop on library management with exposure to leading libraries in Singapore through a series of onsite interactive sessions.

Participation is open to working librarians or LIS professionals or LIS students. Participants should also be registered as Professional Members or Institutional Members of MLA.

The workshop includes case studies from the National Library of Singapore and other key public libraries, academic libraries, and the leading school library service provider.
In addition to the interactive sessions held in the prestigious libraries, hands-on and dedicated workshop sessions will be held to create work plans on how to apply what is observed from the Singapore libraries to the libraries in the Maldives.

Participation Fees:

  • MVR 2,500: inclusive of workshop and meals during the event hours OR
  • MVR 23,500: all-inclusive (Airfare from Male’ to Singapore via Srilankan Airlines, accommodation on a double share basis, meals, and workshop fee)
