On Sunday, 13th August 2023, we met with the PS of Ministry of Education and had a fruitful discussion about the Librarians licensing issue. The PS assured that licensing is not a risk to any of the existing Librarian jobs and that the procedural matters will be notified in due course.

In the meantime, MOE will collaborate with MLA to offer an online information session to all librarians to provide general information about the licensing requirements for librarians as stipulated on 2023/R-137
